WDG-V HP Series analyzers are family of close-coupled convective flue gas analyzers to support combustion control and optimization in a variety of high particulate applications. Mounting directly to the process flange, the WDG-V HP analyzer is designed for continuous measurement of excess oxygen (O2) with options to also measure combustibles (CO+H2) and hydrocarbons, including methane (CH4), in the flue gas.
Built on the proven design of its predecessor WDG-HPII, the WDG-V HP leverages a unique “chimney effect,” convective sampling technology that combines the advantages of insitu probe high-particulate sampling with the high temperature and corrosion resistance of extractive analyzers.
The WDG-V HP is designed to operate in conditions where particulate levels are high, and it is suitable for flue gas temperatures up to 1537°C (2800°F). Zirconium oxide measures excess oxygen and catalytic detectors measure combustibles and methane.
The WDG-V HP is ideal for applications in cement and lime kilns, glass multiple hearth furnaces, metals and mining furnaces, pharmaceutical heaters, power and steam generation boilers and pulp and paper black liquor recovery boilers.
RELIABLE
Using the “chimney effect,” convective sampling, the WDG-V HP relies on diffusion of the sample, reducing the velocity of the gas to eliminate the problem of ‘sand blasting’ the probe, while also leveraging convective forces to pull the sample through the internal plumbing. In addition, the analyzer does not use an aspirator to minimize the risk of particulate plugging.
PROVEN ACCURACY
Zirconium oxide sensing delivers a reliable O2 measurement from 0-1% to 0-100% that is industry-proven. For combustibles analysis, an optional catalytic detector measures within 0-2000 parts per million to enable operators to optimize their combustion process.
EASY TO SERVICE
Designed with the technician in mind, the WDG-V HP is completely field serviceable. All parts are easy to reach and can be replaced using standard tools without having to remove the analyzer from the flange, enabling quicker turnaround and saving technician time.
