The 9933RM is an ultraviolet (UV) photometric analyzer system designed for the low-level measurement of hydrogen sulfide (H2S), carbonyl sulfide (COS), and methyl mercaptan (CH3SH) in natural gas applications. Hydrogen (H2) and carbon dioxide (CO2) measurements can also be included.
Capable of unattended operation for an extended time period, the 9933RM consists of a fully integrated analyzer and sample system. It provides a fast response time to increasing or decreasing H2S and other impurities.
The 9933RM uses AMETEK’s proprietary frontal elution chromatography sampling technique, combined with an enhanced version of the field-proven, exceptionally high-resolution, multi-wavelength 900 Series UV optical bench. This results in accurate, interference-free measurements.
With optional measurements also available for carbonyl sulfide, methyl mercaptan, hydrogen, and carbon dioxide, the 9933RM is ideal for a range of applications in the hydrocarbon processing, natural gas, and petrochemical industries.
INTERFERENCE-FREE MEASUREMENTS
The 9933RM utilizes unique, proprietary frontal elution chromatography to separate H2S, COS and CH3SH from interfering components in natural gas.
ACCURATE PERFORMANCE
Non-dispersive, dual-beam hollow cathode UV photometric detection of H2S (optional COS and CH3SH) provides accuracy better than ±2% of full scale on standard ranges.
COMPLETE MEASUREMENT PACKAGE
With a touch screen user interface, integrated sample system, and certification for use in various hazardous areas, the 9933RM provides a comprehensive solution for key measurements in a compact footprint.
The 9933RM measures key sulfur impurities in natural gas, with hydrogen and carbon dioxide measurements also optionally available – Find out more.
